Sog NW Ranger 2.0

The Sog North West Ranger is a quality fixed blade knife. The leather sheath that it comes with from the factory leaves a lot to be desired at least in my opinion. If you are looking for a good quality knife that would excel in completing bush craft, camping, and wilderness survival tasks the Sog NW Ranger should be on your list. I like the AUS8 steel that this knife is constructed of. The fact that the blade of the Sog NW Ranger's blade is around 3/20's of an inch think makes this knife better suited for food preparation, skinning and other fine tasks. The blade is still robust enough to use for buttoning though wood. The Sog North West Ranger is a quality fixed bland knife.
