Here's the breakdown for making pitch decks with Canva

Have a brand voice and for your brand

The Brand doesn’t know who you are. If it's something relying on your skills etc tell them who you are. This can be an intro page like, "This is my title, this is what I do etc."

Capture them straight away. Everyone’s busy. What’s the idea?

Detail what you would like and why this would be an authentic and organic relationship. I shy away from ‘oh I loved you for 20 years’ and more like, "Here’s my setup where you are," or if you haven’t got products showcasing the need for it without bringing down other brands

Key point here is an ROI for the brand. What are you offering them with deliverables? The real decider here is what can you offer them that's unique? Don’t copy and paste. My niche is gaming, makeup and community so I’m going to show them that creativity

Hit them with reach on your strongest platform and also a gap that you can help them fill

Something that I like to add is a very short reel or clip or something so they can get an idea of my personality.

If you have no idea where to start go to Canva and search the type of pitch deck you would like to create and delete what doesn’t apply.

Also with any deck you create: be able to be able to get key points and put it on a one-pager!
