Caftan...take me away! + Vogue pattern review - V1886 | Luxurious lounging

Hey everyone! Have you ever made a garment that takes you away? Maybe to another place and time? Well, this caftan will do that. At least it did for me! I've had this pattern in my stash and was just waiting for an opportune time to make it. I had a couple of snags along the way, but it all worked out in the end. This really is an easy pattern and I'm sure that I will use it again and again. Since I don't have a pool and there are no cabana boys hanging around these great lakes in Michigan, I'll just be content with lounging in it around the house. ;-)
