A few months ago, my husband and I went on a private tour of Temecula Wine Country, customized just for us by tour company Tour del Vino.

Sue (the owner) and I had a brief conversation about the kind of places we enjoy, and she took care of the rest including hotel arrangements, winery tastings, and restaurant reservations. All we had to do was, quite literally, go along for the ride in their spotless luxury SUV.

Our romantic day out in wine country itinerary:

🏩 Hotel pick-up at the stunning Domaine Chardonnay after our chef-made breakfast with a vineyard view.

🍇 UTV tour and tasting in the 40-acre vineyard at Danza del Sol Winery led by their Executive Director Walter Carter.

🐑 Private tasting of award-winning olive oils with owner Lori Fenton at The Olive Plantation.

🍷Private poolside tasting with winemaker Chad Hughes and a surprise chocolate cake pairing at VOUX Wines.

👨‍🍳 3-course wine pairing dinner Corbeaux Wine and Tea House with each course personally delivered by Sous-Chef Ite.

Along the way, Sue took photos and video, looked after our purchases and belongings, and had water waiting for us in the back seat after each tasting. We were so impressed by all of the little touches. It was a truly special day.
