My world's become a series of different-sized screens
They download and stream and when they freeze up I scream
I scream at the screen and it just looks back at me
I'm goin bloody nuts in this net-enabled quarantine

I feel like in the films ‘Old Boy’ and ‘Castaway’
I stare all day I got a five week gaze
I listen Joy Division and Marvin Gaye
And I wonder if in prison
If you really turn gay?

But I've got a girl, a chick, a sweet lady
She’s across town, locked down far away
She could've packed a bag and she should've come over
But my luck’s run out, ain’t got no four-leaf clover
Oh she’s got legs for days, she’s got a face that's nice
But now I cook alone and I get onions in my eyes

I miss her

But why cook gourmet, when she's not here to share it?

I’m so lonely in the house, I saw a fly eating my clothes

Now I'll turn this frown right upside down
When they ease the restrictions on this town
When they make it safe to travel
I'll wind back up my plans that unravelled

A picnic in the park, with you it would be cool
But I suppose out of the question is the 5 second rule
