Teaching in Saudi Arabia: Exploring Historic Diriyah and Bujairi Park

Описание к видео Teaching in Saudi Arabia: Exploring Historic Diriyah and Bujairi Park

We went to Diriyah, a small town on the north-western outskirts of Riyadh. It was once the the home of the Saudi family and the capital of the Saudi dynasty in 1744.

We went kind of late and never made it to the old palace. Instead we explored the adjacent Bujairi Square. The cafes and restaurants amid palm trees and lush foliage make it a great place to escape the hustle of Riyadh. Locals come here on evenings and weekends to picnic and relax. If you are in Riyadh, definitely do visit Diriyah and Bujairi Square. Make sure you grab a bite at SALT, the ambiance is amazing.
