This week I make a candle holder capiable of holding 3 tea-lights and a pencil pot holder out of plaster. The plaster I used is called 'fine art casting plaster of paris.'
FYI: The plaster is brittle at first, but once the moisture has had time to evaporate & a sealant has been added it is suprisingly rigid and strong!
If I were re-doing the project, I would make the circle moulds in a 'Ω' symbol, pinching the two right angled ends together to make a complete circle, instead of folding the aluminium back on itself.
