In this video, I am going to show you step by step guide to reading and writing any PLC data using the National Instruments opc server.
I have broken the step first to read data into OPC server from Siemens PLC S7-400 Via TCP/IP. data is real-time being read from PLC from my Laptop.
in the second step, I connect the OPC server to LabVIEW to display PLC data in the front panel.
I have also set some alarms and displayed them in a separate window and also logged its history which can be viewed from the National Instrument software name: NIMAX.
