In the sermon I Will Get Me Unto the Great Men, delivered by Jack Hyles at First Baptist Church, Hammond, IN, he talks about the greatness of servants, mentioning how Dr. Evans is great because he says, "Preacher, whatever you want," and because he is a servant of the pastor of the church.

I agree that with what the Bible says that the servant is the greatest of all and that to serve God is to serve others. But to understand the clip, one has to understand the culture and history of the IFB and especially FBC Hammond. Dr. Evans has come out with a notarized statement stating that he did not pursue the issue with Dave Hyles and Dr. Evans' daughter because of Jack Hyles' intervention. That being the case, one has to wonder what Dr. Evans thought when Jack Hyles would say things like this about him.
