Oppo Realme U1 smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. It is a new device under Realme’s U series. The company is touting that the phone will be the world’s first handset to be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Helio P70 processor. The phone is an Amazon India exclusive. It has a waterdrop notch design which gives it a sleek look, with slim edges. It will have an edge to edge display with a high screen to body ratio. The Helio P70 processor offers a boost over its predecessor so users will get faster processing.

The company stated that the new U-series is aimed at those looking for best selfie camera experience. Oppo which owns the brand Realme, is known for its selfie focussed phones. The brand has been teasing AI capabilities on the Mediatek Helio P70 processor. The P70 chipset is known to have 30% improvement in AI processing than its predecessor. The phone has features like high-resolution depth engine, anti-blooming engine, faster multi-frame noise reduction shot, and accurate AI scene detection, which will help in clicking beautiful images.

Realme U1 was launched in November 2018 & runs on Android 8 OS. The Smartphone has a built in fingerprint sensor as the primary security feature, along with the host of connectivity options in terms of 3G, 4G, GPS, Wifi Bluetooth capabilities. The phone is available with 64 GB of internal storage.

The Smartphone is powered by 2.1 GHz Octa core Helio P70 Processor. A 4GB of RAM & Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor ensures phone runs smoothly even the most memory intensive applications & still shows no signs of lag. 64 GB of internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card.

The Phone comes with a large 3500 mAh battery to support it's 6.3 inch screen with FHD Plus display having a resolution of 1080x2340 at 409 ppi. The screen is also protected by a durable Scratch Resistant glass.

Realme U1 boasts of dual primary camera of 13 + 2 megapixel and 25 megapixel front Camera. It also supports Face Detection and high dynamic range(HDR) imaging.
