Navaratri is a spiritual space to introspect and recognize our own strengths - ‘Shakti’ as she permeates in a metaphysical way in the mind and around us.

It’s a quest for these energy centers that leads me to Anandam again and again!

What is the power here that manifests in compassion ,giving, endurance , fortitude,upscaling skills and imparting a positive message to the world at large?

The residents of Anandam who we call Amma , Appa or Paati, Thatha are full of energy and enthusiasm. The kids from the education initiatives are a delightful lot.
What better way to start Navaratri than to converse with this super Shakthi Smt. Bhageerathi Ramamoorthy the Founder Managing Trustee of Anandam a free home for senior citizens in Ambattur, Chennai. Every single time we meet her is a learning experience.
