Russia announced that it would send military troops to the border with Finland. Moscow reacted to Finland's NATO accession and declared they must strengthen their defensive position in the northwestern regions. As a response, Finland ordered David's Sling air defense system from Israel. Helsinki is eager to raise awareness against Russian aggression during the Ukraine War. Furthermore, Finland will join the upcoming "Air Defender 2023" exercise of NATO in June.
