The year 2017 has come to an end. It flew by again didn't it? It was a very special year for me. What are some of the highlights of this year? In February I started an internship at Rotterdam Airport as a rampworker. On the 11th of February I went spotting in snowy conditions for the very first time, and almost got arrested cause someone saw my tripod and thought is was a shotgun. On the 19th of March I had an amazing long day spotting at Schiphol with many really good catches including my first emergency footage of a Titan B767. On the 11th of April my friends from the Plane&Simple group came to AMS and we had a fantastic meet up! On the 11th of May my local airport Rotterdam saw it's very first visit of a Boeing 787, and it turned out to be the rarest one on the world too! It was the Deer Jet B787-8BBJ 2-DEER! I enjoyed it on airside and filmed take off after work! Also in May I hit a great number of 1000 subscribers! On the 27th of June I graduated from my aviation education and the internship at RTM got converted into a real job! On the 3rd of July I catched my first flying Boeing 727! On the 26th of the same month I got my one and only good catch of a American Airlines aircraft in the old chrome livery. During my summervacation I stayed at a camping which was less than a mile away from an airport. Sadly my camera had broken just before the vacation so with the old camera where I started youtube with, I filmed some Ryanairs at Beziers airport. On the way I stopped at Ostend Airport where kind personal from a flying school let me have a look around a Boeing 727! Then on the 20th of August I flew a British Airways B767 to London Heathrow and spend three amazing days spotting there catching everything I wanted, including an epic go-around of a DHL A300F! On the 9th of September I caught Icelandairs beautiful 80 years livery and also the Etihad Formula 1 A340 at Schiphol. The Etihad is sadly now retired. On the 24th of Oktober I went to Düsseldorf Airport for a day to enjoy Air Berlin one last time and had a great day out there. On the 28th and 29th I filmed two days at Schiphol saying goodbye to the KLM Fokker 70s, which ended an era in Dutch aviation. Only a couple weeks ago a Titan Airways B767 visited Rotterdam two times and Holland got rain, wind and a big pack of snow to endure where I also made footage at RTM and AMS. Further non spotting things I did this year was visiting Paris and visiting the Formula 1 race of Belgium.

This year was amazing. I am so happy I graduated from my education and that I have a job at airside now at Rotterdam Airport! I have more time now school is done and I am planning to do many great things next year and in the future! Thank you so much for sticking with me this year! The support I get from you guys is fantastic! I worked very hard on this music video! I hope you like it!
