Episode 2 is probably the second easiest episode on Nightmare in the Ultimate Doom, only behind Episode 3. Most of the levels are wide enough to move around and avoid most enemy encounters, and you do get a Plasma Gun and plenty of ammo to clean out enemies with it. The only real issue here is E2M6, with its tight corridors and backtracking, so dealing with a lot of respawning enemies is an issue here. Some of it is luck and hoping not to get trapped in the Red Key maze by a Baron of Hell or two. E2M9 can also be a problem, as you are under siege from Cacodemons while collecting the keys to exit, but it is recommended to get the Soulsphere and exit that level with a high amount of health, it's needed for E2M6.


There was one death (E2M9, shown in the video) and one re-attempt in E2M6, I did edit the original E2M6 run out of the video, to save your time as I did get considerably far in the level.
