Massive Breathtaking Abandoned Rosewood Mansion Down South in Virginia Built in 1885

This stunning Victorian mansion was built in the late 1800’s, between 1885-1890. The original family the home was built for farmed the land and used it for cattle and grazing land, the home was built as a summer getaway from the hot summers in D.C for a well off doctor who farmed and raised cattle as a side business. The house had live in caretakers and maids for the animals and maintaining the large 14 room home. The mansion features a secondary smaller staircase from the kitchen leading to a small bedroom for a live in maid. Sometime in the 1980’s the maintenance and repairs of the large house became too much and it was vacated, only occasionally being used as a haunted house around Halloween time. Also was supposedly used in a movie but I can’t find any proof of that. Beautiful old Victorian house with incredible architecture and details.
