Minnesota Public Radio and the Star Tribune are proud to announce a special series of Talking Volumes virtual events centered around the topic of race in America.

MPR News reporter Brandt Williams talked to author Chang-rae Lee, winner of the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award, winner of the Dayton Peace Prize and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Chang-rae Lee teaches writing at Stanford University. His latest work, "My Year Abroad: A Novel" was published Feb. 2, 2021, by Riverhead Books.
