This is a very quick video on the Apeman A77 vs A80

1) The a77 does not have image stabilization hence it doesnt have the "Anti-Shaking" or "Gyroscope" features. They make a huge difference. If you want it as a security cam or in any situation where the camera kept still, the a77 will work for you. If you want people to see your footage, spend the extra $30 CAD and get the a80.

2) There is a huge difference in the quality of both products. The a77 seems to be made of cheap plastics and same goes to the waterproof case. It felt like it would crack at any moment. The a80 is much better with a rubberized coating on the sides and the waterproof case has better padding for the camera so it doesnt bounce around inside the case. This adds to the sturdiness of the products and you feel more comfortable using it.



I bought the Apeman a77 for moto vlogging purposes and it ended up being a bad decision. Moved up to the a80 with the 20MP Sony Sensor and there is a significant improvement. Both cameras have horrible sound quality and you will need an extra sound set up.

Since this is just the start for me, I wanted something cheap to experiment with and learn, however, the footage from the a77 was unusable. In my opinion the a80 has great footage comparable to the go pros but at a cheaper cost.

As a final point, both these items are available on amazon with prime shipping hence their intense popularity and the 100s of reviews on the site. Thought Id clear up some of the confusion around it.
