The Rolling Stones performing "Far Away Eyes" live in concert on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California for their Hackney Diamonds Tour.

This was the vote song for the Santa Clara performance. On every stop of the tour all attendees of that particular show were sent an email the day before with a choice of 4 songs and the top voted song would be performed. The four possible choices that were given to us for this particular evening were "Dead Flowers", "Far Away Eyes", "Let It Bleed", and "Sweet Virginia".

I voted for a different song instead of "Far Away Eyes", but I'm still glad that it was picked since it's a rather obscure song that apparently has not been performed too often over the last several years. This actually could be considered another tour debut (we got two!) since the song evidently was not performed during any other stop of this tour.
