I was given this old Sony LCOS TV to find a new home for. It has a new bulb, but I suspect it is a counterfeit lamp, and it is going off and on. So I am going to put a philips bulb for a DLP set in and see if it still blinks on and off. That way I can prove if there is a fault in the TV or if it is just another bad amazon special bulb.
