Dutch or Square Heel // Technique Tuesday

This video demonstrates the Dutch Heel turn for socks knit with a heel flap and gusset. An explanation is given for how to do the heel on any number of sts, and is demonstrated for an even number of stitches and an odd number. The result is compared to the more commonly used Round Heel, and the relative advantages and disadvantages are discussed, as well.
