Watch Me APPLY for the Bilt Mastercard (2 Cards in One Day)

I normally do not apply for 2 cards on the same day, but in this situation, I did.

Right before this application for the Bilt Mastercard®, I had applied for the US Bank Altitude Reserve card. For that application, I had done a lot of preparation, including gardening my credit report since US Bank has very strict unofficial guidelines regarding their credit card approvals.

One important question was: why did you decide to apply for the US Bank Altitude Reserve card first?

The first reason is more general in that US Bank tends to be very particular when it comes to what they expect when you apply for their credit cards. So by applying for the US Bank Altitude Reserve card first, this maximized my chances to get approved for this card. The second reason was more personal, and it was that I really, really wanted the US Bank Altitude Reserve card.

Luckily, I was approved for the US Bank Altitude Reserve card, so I wanted to take advantage of my optimized credit report to fire off this second application. So let's go on a journey together to see what happened with this application when you watch me apply for this card!
