SPECKELD TROUT fishing in GRAND ISLE, LOUISIANA

We are speckled trout fishing in Grand Isle, Louisiana. Speckled trout fishing in Louisiana is often challenging however when figured out it is a lot of fun. Sometimes you have to go through small trout to get a few nice ones, but its part of fishing, definitely better than not catching anything. The most common ways to catch speckled trout is with swim baits and a jog head, soft plastic under a cork, Carolina rig with live shrimp, and live shrimp under a cork, and today we were able to catch fish using all those techniques. Filming a fishing video was definitely challenging today. This video was filmed before the size limit changed from 12 inches to 13 inches. Fishing in grand isle is something that every angler in Louisiana should definitely try. With the weather being bad we could not fish the spot we wanted to, so we had to fish the protected waters in the bay behind grand isle, around Queen Bess Island.
