In this episode, we travel in our converted Ford transit campervan, with our dog, to Wagga Wagga, NSW, and free camp, where we show you things to do in town.

We free camped at Wilks Park which is a great camping spot on the river with clean toilets and you have close access to the town of Wagga Wagga. The camping area is for caravans and vans.

Places we checked out in this episode include:
Wilks Park Free camping ground
Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens
Wagga Zoo & Aviary
Wagga Beach sits on the shore of the Murrumbidgee River
RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre
The Curious Rabbit
Cobbler Road shoe repair
Dough Re Mi
Vanilla Pod Food & Espresso Bar

The regional Heritage Centre displays aircraft and exhibits that highlight the rich history of the Air Force and celebrate links between the base and the local community. The Heritage Centre contains a collection of artifacts, such as retired aircraft, uniforms, vehicles, photographic displays, ground equipment, and personal records. The RAAF Heritage Centre is staffed by volunteers from the local community, some of whom are current or retired Air Force members.

The Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens is home to native plants and a mini zoo.

Wagga Wagga Art Gallery has more than 500 pieces of glass art.

Wagga Beach sits on the shore of the Murrumbidgee River. The Wiradjuri Walking Track runs along the river and through the surrounding countryside.

The Wagga Zoo contains a diverse range of local and non-local animals and a huge free-flight aviary! Many of the animals in the park are free to roam. These include ducks, peacocks, chooks, black swans, geese and many other birds. As bread and other similar bakery products are known to cause serious health problems, visitors are not permitted to feed bread to the animals. Children must be accompanied by adults within the zoo, and dogs are strictly prohibited.
