Hard Rock Cafe Orlando was the first Hard Rock Cafe to be built from the ground up, rather than retrofitted into an existing building. The business is owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The original Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, which opened in 1990, was designed to look like a giant guitar, with a 300-foot-long neck that served as the entrance and a guitar head with silver turning keys. The original Hard Rock Cafe Orlando was also the largest Hard Rock Cafe in the world at the time and featured three two-story stained-glass windows. The current Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, which opened in 1998, is still the largest Hard Rock Cafe in the world, and has more pieces of music memorabilia than any other location. The current Hard Rock Cafe Orlando also has a 3,000-person concert venue called Hard Rock Live Orlando, where you can catch live performances. Reservations are recommended but not required to dine.
