Kiyomizudera: Kyoto's Sacred Gem

Описание к видео Kiyomizudera: Kyoto's Sacred Gem

Kiyomizudera, located in eastern Kyoto, is one of Japan's most famous temples. Founded in 778, it is renowned for its iconic wooden stage, which offers breathtaking views of cherry blossoms and vibrant maple trees, particularly in spring and autumn. The temple's name, meaning 'Pure Water Temple,' is derived from the Otowa Waterfall that flows through its grounds. Like many other visitors, we also came to Kiyomizudera, not only for its spiritual significance but also to admire its historic architecture and explore the surrounding streets, filled with traditional shops and teahouses. The experience exceeded our expectations. Kiyomizudera offers much more than just a visit to a temple—it’s a journey through time, beauty, and tradition.
