An estimated 12,000 transportation professionals from 70 nations including the US spent much of this week in the nation’s capital. They were here attending the 95th Annual Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting. Transportation TV News Update covers the event -- bringing you several meeting highlights including a speech from US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx on the connection between economic opportunity and transportation. Foxx challenged today’s transportation planners to build facilities that bring economic development to communities.
