As a 7x Tactical Response alum, I have taken this class many years ago. I still have great relationships with former instructors and have met some amazing people through their organization when Yeager was teaching. The concepts and context of this drill could be taught a little better to help the student understand when certain actions are acceptable. We have to remember that we can only stop the threat, we dont have a license to kill. Also, when the threat no longer exists, we have to stop using deadly force. Additionally, disparity of force comes in to play, specifically regarding position of disadvantage. The responsible armed citizen needs to be educated in these matters.
