Amy Scerra was raised in Webster, New York. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Hospitality Administration, Amy went on to spend five-years working in corporate aviation. She fell in love with fifty countries, cultures, and cuisines, while learning about business, success, and drive from some of the world's top leaders. She learned the value of authentic travel, to appreciate diversity, and to relentlessly pursue new experiences. Amy has since transitioned to a career in higher education, combining her love for the international community and philanthropy. She has had an immense opportunity to work with women entrepreneurs from emerging economies and manage business-training programs at Thunderbird School of Global Management. Amy has watched each woman discover her own strength, courage and tenacity, as it is ignited when they are empowered, safe and supported. Amy's personal goal is to create opportunities for both local and international women entrepreneurs to expand their networks, improved access to education, and to provide practical tools to promote sustainable business growth. Amy hopes to inspire others with her own human moments, and her passion for creating opportunities for others to connect, and realize just how similar we all truly are.
