Rainfall Alert In Odisha | Yellow Warning Issued For 5 Districts

Odisha is bracing for another spell of rain as a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal triggers a warning from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). While the system is moving towards Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, its indirect impact will bring light to moderate rainfall to the state today and tomorrow. A yellow warning has been issued for five districts today. The rain has heightened the concerns of farmers, who are worried about protecting their harvested paddy and transporting it from the fields.

Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Koraput

Light Rainfall Expected:

Gajapati, Ganjam, Khordha, Puri, Kendrapara

Jagatsinghpur, Baleswar, Boudh, Jajpur

Cuttack, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri

Tomorrow's Rainfall:

Light to moderate rainfall expected in coastal districts on the 25th

Heavy rainfall likely in Gajapati and Ganjam
