Our parkrun tourism travels took us to King George V Playing Fields parkrun this week where we also "celebrated" #EnglishBreakfastDay with a fabulous full English Breakfast at the Curious Cafe in Cheltenham.

It was a frosty, foggy frolic round some fields for the parkrun. The foggy gloom was so thick that at times it was difficult to be certain which cone to aim for! But found the experience quite fun, trotting round seeing runners appear and disappear into the mist.

The 2nd of December is English Breakfast Day, so it was even more important than normal to indulge in our post parkrun breakfast and we were recommended the Curious Cafe in Cheltenham. It didn't disappoint serving a delicious breakfast, even though I did also end up as honorary door open/closer.

Refuelled and warmed up again, we headed to Gloucester where I was running the second of Birmingham Cross Country League races of the season, four laps of Plock Court, which is actually the home of Gloucester North parkrun (    • Gloucester North parkrun - Iona & Ian on a...   ).

Then home we headed, showered off the mud and headed to the Massey Christmas party in our glad rags where Iona enjoyed cutting up the dancefloor!
