Avila Hot Springs

Avila Hot Springs was discovered in 1907 when unlucky oil drillers stumbled upon it. The Budan family established it as a popular natural artesian mineral hot springs oasis, which is now a well-known visitor destination at the gateway to Avila Beach and Port-San Luis Harbor. The historic site offers cabin camping, dry tent camping, and is located just 2 miles away from the beaches, adjacent to the Bob Jones Bike Trail. Visitors can enjoy the southerly location, which provides some of the best weather on the Central Coast, making it an ideal place to relax and beat the heat under the shade of palm trees and ocean breezes.

Avila Hot Springs offers a range of amenities, including group picnic and BBQ facilities, a heated freshwater pool with double slides, a hot mineral soaking pool, massage therapy, and Wally's Bike Rentals, which provides access to bike trails. The location is conveniently close to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, wineries, golf courses, restaurants, and shopping.

Pismo Beach Golf Course

In 1966, the Le Sage family, a prominent local family, bought several hundred tons of the best topsoil available. They used this soil, plus their vision, to construct a new executive par 3 golf course on 29 beautiful acres of land adjacent to the sand dunes of Pismo Beach. After a few years, the state of California purchased the golf course, and it is now managed by the current concessionaires who have been entrusted with its management since 1992. The 9-hole course is open to players of all levels, including children and professionals.
