Hello? Is anybody still here?

Hello, everyone! It has been sometime since my last upload (December 2018). I'll share a brief description of where I've been and why I have been absent from sharing any new music.

After I released Hearthfire in December 2018, I began to experience very strange issues with my production computer, DAW and libraries. After Hearthfire, I finished two songs and noticed strange bits of audio that were in the song when exported as an audio file but the sounds weren't in my productions at all. Some of the sounds sounded like popping, ticking or the sound of a bass drum (no drum in the songs).

This lead to some very stressful sitations, trying to figure out why this was happening. Sometimes the strange sounds were audible in different parts of the song and not in others, seeming to change with each audio file. Some of the issues were technical and challenging to fix and others exceeded my knowledge.

It was very exhausting mentally spending hours trying to find a solution and was sometimes discouraging. As you can tell, I never did share the two songs. While I was happy with them, the strange sounds really bothered me because I found them distracting, hard to avoid when listening.

I'm happy to be able to finally share a new compoisiton, a solo piano piece.

Reflections is a composition about relfecting back on life. It's not necessarily meant to be a very emotional song, just one dedicated to thoughts and memories of the past.

With this song, there was very little editing as I wanted the piano to sound raw as I feel it helps to better express emotion, rather than to be highly edited.
