The latest addition to the Hypermotard lineup, presented on Tuesday, is the new Hypermotard V2: a new engine, frame, suspension, and brakes. It weighs 13 kg less, while the electronics are now fully functional. It will be available from April 2026. With the arrival of the new V-twin engine at EICMA 2024 , it was clear that Ducati would revamp its entire mid-range range. After the Panigale , Streetfighter, and Monster , the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has officially unveiled the new Ducati Hypermotard V2. Compared to the previous model, it has undergone changes in virtually every aspect: engine, chassis, design, and electronics. 13 kg lighter than the 950 , it is also more powerful and technologically advanced. The heart of the V2 is the 890 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, the lightest ever made by Ducati (54.4 kg, 6.4 kg less than the Testastretta 11° it replaced). It adopts variable valve timing on the intake side, a solution that optimizes power delivery and torque across the entire rev range. The declared maximum values ​​are 1.20 hp at 11,000 rpm and 94 Nm of torque, with 70% available at 3,000 rpm. Maintenance is extended, with valve inspection intervals of 45,000 km. It is also available in a 35 kW version for A2 license holders.
