I FOUND A CIVIL WAR MUSKET WITH BAYONET IN THE RIVER! | Aquachigger

Awsome. That is what I have to say about this extraordinary find I uncovered with my metal detector from the river recently. It was quite a surprise to pull this Civil War musket with the bayonet still attached out of the murky water knowing I am the first one to see or touch this wonderful artifact in over 150 years. Was it lost as a soldier was shot crossing the river? The bayonet tells us it was lost in the heat of battle if nothing else.
