YES, this is a ship map. Don't like it? Not my problem. If you don't like, please don't harass the participants! They put so much effort into this map!
Honestly, I feel as if the Reedshine x Mapleshade ship is kinda shallow (I still ship it though, don't come for me) because they never really ever interacted with each other. And when they did, it wasn't really a positive interaction.
With Frecklewish on the other hand,,,
I feel as if they were close, maybe even close enough to have feelings for each other. In this AU if you will, Frecklewish and Mapleshade start out as good friends, but soon, Frecklewish begins to fall for Mapleshade, and Mapleshade falls for her. They spend more and more time together, and Frecklewish promises to raise Mapleshade's kits with her, since she thought that the kits were her deceased brother's kits. But then, the truth is revealed and Mapleshade confesses to Appledusk being the father and not Birchface, Frecklewish's brother. However, Frecklewish has a feeling of betrayal, but yet still feels bad when Mapleshade is banished. She forgives Mapleshade, but Mapleshade is too caught up in emotion to accept that until it's too late when Frecklewish gets attacked by the adder. She realizes that she instantly regrets it, and mourns over her failed lover if you will.
