Happy New Year everyone! To kick off 2025, we will begin by celebrating ten years of me making Turtle Back Zoo Railroad videos! As a little child, this railroad has always been a big part of me since my first visit to this zoo, and since July 2014, it has become a tradition for me to make videos of this railroad on an annual basis. My bond with this railroad has also been made stronger as an employee for the zoo in 2020, and the many improvements made beginning in 2019 has only made the railroad a better attraction at Turtle Back!

This celebratory video compiles my favorite shots during my time at this zoo, with clips from 2014 to 2024. The video clips are shown in mostly chronological order. It primarily composes of trackside shots, but a few ride POVs will also appear.

Note that not every year is included; 2015 and 2016 are skipped for the following reasons:
1. I had some footage of the train in 2015, but a failed backup caused the footage to be sadly lost.
2. The videos from 2016 were from a time when I didn’t have an excellent camera, and the footage of the railroad from that year were so bad in quality that I elected to exclude them from this video.

Since 2015, a dedicated fleet of three locomotives and two trainsets built by Chance Rides in Witicha, Kansas have proudly served the railroad, and all equipment are guaranteed to make an appearance in this video! Enjoy all the videos appearing in this video, including some of the wackiest shots ever seen! Here’s to many more years at the Turtle Back Zoo Railroad!
