🕊️ Senior Journalist Imtiaz Mir Passes Away After Brutal Attack in Malir | Karachi Press Under Attack

Renowned journalist and anchorperson Imtiaz Mir of Metro News has tragically succumbed to his injuries after a brutal armed attack near Kala Board, Malir, Karachi, on September 21. He passed away on Sunday night at a private hospital while undergoing treatment for multiple gunshot wounds to the face and chest.

📍 The attack occurred as Imtiaz Mir was returning home to Quaidabad with his elder brother Muhammad Saleh, who was driving the car. Six unidentified assailants on two motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle on the National Highway. Saleh sustained minor injuries.
