Delhi polls have laid bare the growing cracks in the INDIA bloc, with key allies like TMC, Shiv Sena (UBT), and Samajwadi Party openly backing AAP, leaving Congress increasingly isolated. The three-way battle against AAP and BJP has sidelined Congress, while Ajay Maken’s anti-AAP remarks have only deepened the rift, prompting AAP to demand Congress’s ouster from the alliance. The Delhi elections now seem poised to deal a fatal blow to Congress’s standing and may have sounded the death knell for the Opposition alliance. Arvind Kejriwal labelled Congress a "BJP pawn,". RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav downplayed the alliance’s unity, stating it was formed solely for the Lok Sabha elections, while J&K CM Omar Abdullah suggested disbanding the bloc if its purpose was limited to national polls.
