I have two big dogs that shed a lot so I wanted to try these out. I normally take my dogs to the groomers but I do like to wash them between those appointments. These were great in the fact my hands were not covered in dog hair. The gloves did remove the excess hair and lathered my puppies up quite well. They are not easy to get the remnants of hair out but I wasn't too worried about that but if you were going to use them for other things you might want that.
