Problem Statement:

The feed stream contains 55 mol % hydrogen, 25 mol % ethylene, 10 mol % methane and 10 mol % ethane. The flowrate of feedstream is 1000 kgmole/h. The feed is entering the cooler at -50C and 20 bar. The objective of the simulation is to remove hydrogen from the mixture (using cooler and separator) under two conditions:

1. Ethylene present in hydrogen stream should be less than 2%.
2. The mole fraction of hydrogen in the separated stream should be less than 0.02.
