Nintendo World Championships - 8,613,245 (TAS)

Yes, this again. I knew my original was bad, and I wanted to see how much I could do better with the same strats. Still, this is pretty bad.

As far as I know, this is the highest anyone has gotten, only because I'm the only idiot who'd think to TAS it. Despite it being such a legendary cartridge, nobody really talks about the actual contents of this game. Kinda a shame, because I think it's a fun little challenge.

Visual glitches around 3:10 and 6:20 due to Bizhawks filesize limits, I guess.

I feel like Mario is pretty optimized, but one could definitely cut down a few frames. Rad Racer is actually worse than my previous because I had bad RNG with the cars at 2:40 and had to slow down. Still happy I got that swaggy turn at 2:10, though. In Tetris, I tried to keep the stack as tall as possible, but cut a few corners, especially at the end. The left-side well that started because of that z-piece at 5:17 probably slowed me down a good bit.

Tetris is obviously the one to optimise if I want a 9,999,999 (or more, if it counts). As I understand it, this version doesn't use the same RNG as the regular game, rather the sequence of pieces is determined by your score in Mario Bros. This means you can't do any manipulation of the pieces, but you could get a good sequence and plan ahead. This, along with starting the stack higher up, would likely get enough points.

Some things I want to try for the fun of it are skipping Mario Bros, beating all of Mario Bros and collecting 50 coins in the second quest, and a regular human theory TAS.
