Zee5 released the trailer of Mithya Season 2: The Darker Chapter online. The show features Huma Qureshi, Avantika Dassani and Naveen Kasturia in important roles, and is releasing on November 1.

Zee5 original series, Mithya, is back with the second season, titled Mithya: The Darker Chapter. The trailer of the show was released on Monday, October 21, and as the title mentions, it appeared darker and more mysterious than the first. Starring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani in the lead, the series welcomed a new addition this time. The TVF Pitchers fame Naveen Kasturia joined the cast in the fresh season of the show.

As shown in the trailer, the story takes the viewers back to the psychological drama between half-sisters, Juhi (Huma) and Rhea (Avantika). Juhi, who's a famous writer, tries to enjoy the success of her new book, but is immediately taken aback by plagiarism accusations from another writer. Enters Naveen as author Amit Chaudhary in the scene.
While Juhi has her parallel story running aside, Rhea continues to plot to be closer to her father and longs for his acceptance into the family.

Directed by Kapil Sharma, who also helmed the first season, Mithya: The Darker Chapter, it seems based on the 'blood versus blood' conundrum, which has been explored in many series and films, including the globally reverred Game of Thrones.
