Compton is one of the most infamous cities in California and the world, known mostly for it's rampant gang culture and being the birthplace of the Bloods and the Crips, as well as rap icons like NWA, The Game, and Kendrick Lamar. But less well known is the horeback riding culture, through riding clubs like "The Compton Cowboys," which is an organization that stables horses by and for members of the community who want to come together to learn how to ride. Johnny spends a day hanging out with these Cowboys and rides with them through the gang infested streets of Compton. He also spends time with some local Latino community leaders, who take him to an urban farm, and explain to him how Compton has changed since the bad old days of NWA.
