WCW SuperBrawl 9 took place in Oakland, CA on the 21st of February 1999. Nature Boy Ric Flair and Hollywood Hulk Hogan headline another WCW PPV and this time it's Flair trying to win the belt from the leader of the nWo.

Elsewhere on the card, Rey Mysterio is in danger of losing his mask. Mysterio and Konnan team up to battle Kevin Nash and Lex Luger of the nWo Wolfpac Elite. If Konnan and Rey lose, Mysterio must unmask, however Miss Elizabeth has to shave her head should the Wolfpac lose against K-Dawg and Rey. Booker T and Disco Inferno open the show up, the tag title tournament comes to an end with The Horsemen battling Curt Hennig and Arn Anderson, and Diamond Dallas Page tries to get some revenge when he faces Scott.
