RECOMMENDED EXERCISE

1. Think about any regular meetings you attend - as chair or as a participant. Do they have explicit ground rules? If not, are there implicit ground rules everyone understands? How satisfactory is the situation? If you think it could improve, how? (3 MC CPD Points)
2. Thinking about regular meetings you chair, what will you do to apply what you have learned to each of those meetings? (1 MC CPD Point)
3. At your next one-off or new meeting, make a deliberate choice about how you will handle ground rules. Then apply that. (2 MC CPD Points)
4. Review the outcomes of your next one-off or new meeting. How successful was the way you handled ground rues? What worked well, and what was less effective? What will do differently next time? (2 MC CPD Points)
