In line with Remembrance Day, we hosted this live event over on Facebook. Findmypast's Alex Cox and Paul Nixon chatted about war memorials and those listed there with special guests.

We welcomed Charlotte Pearce of the Imperial War Museum and Elizabeth Smith of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The four panellists discussed the names they had explored on their local war memorials, keeping their stories alive. As family historians, we often focus on our own family trees. But our skills and passion for the past can be used to discover stories about those who might not have descendants to remember them.
