It was a slow start to the season for Padang Padang, with not a whole to show for the first couple of months of the dry season. That all changed at the start of July, with more than a handful of good days.

August was a little quiet, and then we had some great swell, wind and tide combinations in September. It was a month chock full of pumping Padang Padang and it's also when Kelly Slater turned up, adding some extra 'wow factor' to it all.
