While I was washing dishes, I looked out of the kitchen window and noticed tracks in the snow in our backyard. I went out to investigate to see if I could tell what kind of animal had created them.

But while I was at it, the mystery depended. I discovered another set of tracks.

I think.

Their spacing is weird. Very long stride between prints. And where did they start? Did something come out of our tree and walk towards our neighbor’s house? There aren’t any tracks before the first one I found by the tree.

Or maybe they’re not tracks and just some sort of weird snow melt? 🤷‍♀️

But then there was ANOTHER discovery…the cover to our crawl space had fallen. Gulp! #scary

However, thankfully there weren’t any tracks around the crawl space. Hopefully that means nothing —or no one— is in there. 🤞
