In 2016, construction work halted unexpectedly, leaving apartment blocks incomplete and lacking basic amenities like electricity and water connections. Buyers lodged several FIRs against the developers, and the project's future remains uncertain. The situation worsened when Earth Infrastructure was declared insolvent, and the project was later renamed Roma Dreams. Despite these changes, progress has been minimal, and many buyers have been left in limbo.

Frustrated by the prolonged delays, buyers have staged multiple protests, demanding accountability from the builders and intervention from the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). Some have even expressed their intent to set up tents at the project site as a form of protest and out of sheer desperation.
