In this video, I’m wand curling a kinky straight wig to create soft, blown-out curls with natural movement. I start by blow-drying the hair to prep it properly, then use a wand curler and heat-resistant glove to shape the curls safely and smoothly. This texture gives the perfect balance between natural and polished.

Kinky straight wigs are one of my favorite textures because they mimic freshly blow-dried natural hair while staying soft and lightweight. I love wand curling this texture for dates, summer festivals, and everyday wear—especially here in Atlanta. The glove is a must because the wand gets extremely hot, especially at the tip, and it helps protect your fingers while styling.
